Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-04-26
Short version: I collect only what you submit through the project form (your name, contact details, and project info), plus the standard request logs any website sees. I use it to reach out about your project. I don't sell it or share it with third parties for marketing. The full policy below covers your rights under California law (CCPA/CPRA) and how to contact me to delete your data.
What I collect
Prime Nova is run by Roman, a solo freelance web developer in San Diego, California. The only thing this site asks of you is the project intake form. When you submit it, I receive what you typed in:
- Your name.
- The contact channel you picked (email, phone for SMS or WhatsApp, Instagram handle, Telegram username, or another method you wrote in) and the value for that channel.
- Project details: whether you want a new site or updates to an existing one, the business name, industry, audience, goals, timeline, inspiration links, and any notes you added. For updates, the URL of your current site, the platform, and what you'd like changed.
- If you opted into SMS or WhatsApp contact, a record that you checked the consent box.
Beyond the form, the site itself sees a small amount of standard request data when any page loads:
- Server logs from the hosting platform (Vercel) keep a short-term record of requests for debugging and abuse prevention. These contain your IP address, the page you requested, the user-agent string from your browser, and a timestamp. Vercel keeps these for about a month and then deletes them.
- Vercel Analytics counts page views without cookies. It records the URL of the page, the referrer (where you came from), an anonymized device type, an approximate country/region, and an IP-address hash that resets daily. It doesn't follow you between sessions or across other sites.
I don't use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, retargeting scripts, or any cookie-based trackers. The site sets no cookies of its own. Because there's no tracking to disable, I don't take action on Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals — there isn't anything to turn off.
How I use it
Your submission goes to two places at the same time so I can respond quickly: a private Telegram group I run, and an email inbox at info@prime-nova.com. From there I read it, decide if the project is a fit, and reach out on the channel you picked, usually within 24 hours.
- Reply to your inquiry.
- Send you a quote, scope, and timeline.
- Stay in touch through the project if you hire me.
I don't add you to a marketing list. There's no newsletter and no drip campaign. If we don't end up working together, I won't message you again unless you reach out first.
Who else sees it
A few services help me run the site and reach you. Each one acts as a processor on my behalf, not as an independent recipient. I don't sell, rent, or share your data for advertising or anyone else's marketing.
- Vercel hosts the site and runs the form-submission code. Submission data passes through Vercel's servers but isn't stored beyond what's needed to deliver the message.
- Resend delivers the email copy of your submission to my inbox.
- Telegram delivers the chat copy of your submission to my private notification group.
- Zoho Mail runs the info@prime-nova.com inbox where the email copy lands and where I reply from.
If a court or law-enforcement order compels me to disclose something, I'll comply. I'll also notify you if that happens, unless the order forbids it.
How long I keep it
Form submissions stay in my Telegram group and email inbox so I can find past projects later. If we work together, I keep your project notes for the duration of the engagement plus about four years after, which is how long I keep records connected to invoicing for tax purposes in California. If we don't end up working together, I sweep cold inquiries roughly every twelve months and delete them. You can also ask me to delete your inquiry sooner at any time and I'll do it within 30 days.
Your rights
Anyone, anywhere, can email me to see, correct, or delete what I have on you. Send a note to info@prime-nova.com from the address you used to submit, or describe enough of your inquiry that I can find it.
California residents have specific rights under the CCPA and CPRA:
- Right to know what categories of personal information I've collected, where I got it, why I have it, and who I've shared it with.
- Right to a copy of the specific pieces of personal information I have about you.
- Right to delete your personal information, with the usual legal exceptions (for example, records I have to keep for tax purposes).
- Right to correct inaccurate information.
- Right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. I won't refuse you service, charge a different price, or give you a worse version of the work because you asked.
- Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. I don't sell or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there's nothing to opt out of, but the right exists.
I'll respond to a verifiable request within 45 days. To verify, I'll match the request to the contact channel you submitted, or ask one or two questions about your inquiry that only you would know. You can also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf with written permission.
Children
This site isn't aimed at anyone under 16 and I don't knowingly collect data from minors. If you're a parent or guardian and you think your child submitted the form, email info@prime-nova.com and I'll delete the entry.
Changes to this policy
If I update this policy, the date at the top will change. Material changes (a new processor, any kind of analytics that uses cookies, anything that affects how your data is handled) will be flagged in the intro for at least 30 days.
